Rosa Lee is both an entrepreneur and an academic with a strong voice in the emerging field of transgender studies.
She attended Amherst college, and earned her B.A. in Women, Gender, and Sexuality from Trinity
College in Hartford, CT. She was honored as a Presidential Fellow, and was recipient
of the IDP Council Award for Special Accomplishment and the Sicherman Prize in Women's Studies. She published "Queering the Transperson:
Going Beyond Equality" in 2004, and has presented her academic work at Central Connecticut State University, Marist College,
and twice at the National Women's Studies Association annual conference as an undergraduate. She is currently pursuing her
master's degree in Trinity College's Public Policy Program.
She is self-employed and runs a hearty online business under the name
rugbykingpin. When she is not writing or working, she is travelling and hiking in beautiful areas.
